The Story

  • A lovely late summer-fruiting (floricane) raspberry with large, firm fruits and vigorous growth.
  • Produces raspberries up to one-fifth larger than other varieties! Don't worry, though, this larger size doesn't mean a compromise on flavour; the raspberries (which are harvested from July onwards) boast wonderful levels of sweetness.
  • Tolerates heavy, wet soils - a great choice for difficult growing conditions and even as a screening plant.
  • A great all-rounder, perfect for eating, baking, smoothies, juices and jams.
  • Floricane (summer-fruiting) variety. Floricane varieties fruit on last year's wood, so it's important to get the pruning right. Cut back the fruited canes after the last harvest, leaving roughly eight that didn't fruit (these will be green stems) to grow next year. These new canes will bear your next harvest.
