The Story

  • The heavyweight beefsteak tomato with Amish origins
  • This heritage tomato originates with the Amish in the USA. Brandywines are very large, deep pink to red ribbed tomatoes with a unique fruity, sweet and spicy flavour. They stand up well to slicing and are perfect for burgers or a Caprese salad
  • Grow in a greenhouse or outdoors in raised beds, borders and allotments
  • Fruits can grow to a weight of 700g each!
  • Plant out after the last frosts in May and harvest from August to September
  • Premium tomato plants in 8.5cm pots, grown on a family run farm in Lancashire and sent to you at the best possible time for planting
  • Growing your own gives you healthy, fresh produce with a lower carbon plantprint than anything you can buy from a shop (good luck finding this in a shop!)
  • Easy to grow and care for - you should see your first crop within three months
