  • The quality of the cherries is rated highly, with large uniform fruits that tend not to split
  • The taste is fantastic, with sweet juicy cherries without any bitterness
  • Summer Sun has a more compact habit than other cherries so is perfect for smaller spaces or those who want a more easily manageable tree (or just easier to pick cherries!)
  • Late Harvest - July/August
  • Max size H4m x W4m - Colt Rootstock Rootstocks restrict the size of a tree to make it more suited for an average gardenMORE
  • Partially Self fertile (Pollination Group 3) - will benefit from a pollination partner Will fruit better when pollinated by another Pear tree. To pollinate, they must be within a mile's radius of each other. They need to flower at the same time. Pears are in the same pollination group, or one either side, can pollinate each other. In built up areas it is unlikely that there won't be a suitable pollination partner within a mileMORE
