- With its glaucous, rounded, wonderfully fragrant leaves and peeling cream bark, Eucalyptus gunnii (also known as the cider gum tree) is among the very best ornamental trees.
- This plant has been trained as a mini standard (a clear-stemmed tree topped with a bushy head of foliage) to be grown either in the open ground or a large container.
- Alongside its fantastic evergreen foliage, this tree also produces dainty white flower clusters during the summer.
- While this tree can reach an ultimate height of six metres or so left unpruned, most people will keep it nice and compact (at around two metres tall).
- A recipient of the RHS's Award of Garden Merit, this plant has been proven to perform well in British gardens.
- Our mature trees are grown in Air-Pots®, the only type of pot to completely eliminate root circling. A unique design stimulates air pruning for a mass of healthy fibrous roots, which results in a healthy tree that will establish quickly in your garden. With each Air-Pot® made to last up to 20 years, we reuse them on the nursery and wrap your mature tree in hessian for delivery - but if you’d rather keep your tree potted, simply add an Air-Pot® to your basket along with your tree.
