The Story
- This versatile heirloom bean plant gives you fresh green beans which can also be left to mature and produce dark red kidney beans
- Perfect for small spaces, this dwarf variety needs no support

- For French beans, pick the whole pod when they're about 10-15cm long and before you can see the beans inside. For kidney beans, allow the pods to turn yellow, then shell the beans and leave overnight - they'll turn from pink to that characteristic deep red
- Plant out after the last frosts and harvest from June to September
